Old tree

I am an old tree
Scars all over from aging
Crack when the wind is blowing
Struggle to keep myself standing

When I am cracking
I am not complaining
I am not moaning
I am just breaking

My dear seedlings
Wish you grow quickly and mature early
So the wind can carry you away
Before the wind break me completely

When you grow up by the lake shore
Grow up into an upstanding tree
From the reflection in the water
You will find the younger me
