We sincerely petition to you that you listen to our views expressed below and that you behave in ways not shaming your names in history.

We are concerned that international tension is being heightened as a result of China's land reclamation on rocks in the South China Sea. We believe that international disputes should be resolved by peaceful means.
We fear that the conflict in the South China Sea may lead to wars, resulting in the loss of many lives and damage to the land and the seas of Asia. We are determined to oppose strongly any war caused by disputes in the South China Sea.

我们非常关注围绕中国在南海岩礁上的填海造地之举所引发的国际间的紧张局势。针对有关的国际问题纷争，我们认为应用和平方式来解决。
若因南海纠纷而发生了战争，则会令大多数的人因战争而丧失生命，同时亚洲的土地及海洋也会遭受重创。因此我们强烈地，强烈地反对把南海问题作为理由的战争。
