This is a true story.

Mr. Wu Xiuquan, a famous Chinese diplomat met his American counterpart during an international conference in a small alley inside a building in Jarkarta, Indoneasia in 1955 . The American hated Chinese, but he could not avoid greeting Mr. Wu. So the American diplomat said to Mr. Wu: "Are you a Japanese, Javanese (Note: a kind of people in Indoneasia eating people at that time) or Chinese ?". Mr. Wu rebuffed, "Are you a Monkey, Donkey or Yankee ?"
