威爾士人•史蒂文斯(1879生—1955卒)

                人有個模具。但並非

                動物那種。天使類型

                論及思想，觸動心靈。可謂

                動物。藍色吉他——

                琴弦上它的尖爪張開，它的獠牙

                頌揚荒漠時光。

                藍色吉他是模具？還是殼子？

                不管怎樣，北風吹響

                號角，成功屬於

                稻草上作曲的蠕蟲。

【注】麵粉村隸屬賓州春田鎮(Springfield, PA)，緊鄰費城西北部，鯰魚溪流經此地，舊時當地村民因地制宜，大面積耕種小麥，磨坊產業隨之蓬勃發展。

有兩處建築(群)被列入《國家史跡名錄》(Natl. Register of Historic Places)，其中一處建築——黑馬酒館是賓州創始人勇將·首領(William Penn)的兒子1741年送給任職於紫衫樹鎮(York)的君權神授·金屬工(Baltzer Spengler)的住宅；另外一處建築群——沼澤居民河谷學校早先則是女子孤兒院，現為患有行為障礙或精神疾病6—12年級男女生提供特殊教育及心理治療的初高中寄宿學校，校園形似16世紀英式村落，共有九座都鐸(Tudor)復興風格，包括：

• 鵝媽媽小屋(Mother Goose Cottage ,1917-1920)

• 紅山牆小屋(Red Gables Cottage, 1917-1920)

• 鸛山(Stork Hill, 1918年)

• 薊小屋(Thistle Cottage 1917—1920年)

• 上、下山毛櫸小屋(Upper/Lower Beech Cottage, c. 1930)

• 山毛櫸樹枝小屋(Beech Branch Cottage, c.1930)

• 車庫(Garage, 1917-1920)

• 商店/倉庫(Shop/Storehouse, 1932)
