        Losing is a tough experience. Everyone wishes to avoid it. But sooner or later though, people have to face it like a man. And also, like a man, people have to recover. However, it depends on how big of a loss it is.

        Our record right now wins 1-1 at the 76ers Overnight Camp. It was decent. The thing about the tournament is that all the teams are qualified, just that the record determines the seed. 

        Today, we had a rematch against UNC and everyone was pumped just not in a good way. After being handed a tough loss to them yesterday, our team kind of fell apart. People were blaming the free throw shooter for not making a single basket and the free throw shooter was blaming our point guard for just randomly shooting shots that weren’t even open. The arguments dragged through the morning drills, and everyone criticized each other for not doing something correctly. At lunch our team split up, not talking to other members. We had a game against Duke that we were playing a few hours before a rematch against UNC, and none of our team was looking forward to it. 

        The game with Duke started at good enough and our team taking a 4-point lead. That moment actually made me feel a bit more confident in facing Duke. When the lead stretched to 19 points, we went crazy. Then, Duke started eating away of our lead. Every sub, the lead shrunk by four or so. In the 4^th quarter, the game went into overtime when Duke’s number one star knocked down two free-throws. The thing was, at this camp, overtime can’t be too long because there was a tight fit in the schedule. This game went to sudden death, and any point free-throw or field-goal would give the team a victory. We got the ball first and on a drive, one of our best shooters got fouled and went to the foul line. He missed both, and at that very instant, I knew the game was over. The star on Duke got a wide-open lane and lagged in a bucket. The game was over.

        The night against UNC, we held our ground against the bullies of its team. Even though we all played hard, we didn’t play as a team. On defense, we stopped them. But on offense, we gave the ball right back. After the lowest-scoring quarter I have ever seen, UNC pulled away. It didn’t seem as if they went on a two-basketball game, you know when the momentum shifted and grew. UNC was growing stronger every drive, shot, and pass. Rebounds were being stolen by UNC on every possession. Finally, UNC lifted its foot off of the gas pedal and fought for six straight points to end the game.

        UNC won yet again by 13.  GA-Tech has the last seed, being a team with a 1-3 record. But right now, it feels like 1-13.

        输球的滋味并不好受，人人巴不得躲它远远的，但是大家迟早要像男子汉一样去正视它，并像男子汉一样恢复常态。然而，究竟需要多久才能摆脱影响，那得看输得有多惨。

        眼下在费城七六人队篮球寄宿营中我们的战绩是赢一场输一场，看上去不错，所有球队均有资格参加后面举行的循环赛，名次根据比赛结果来定。

        今天我们将与北卡大学队再度相遇，每个人摩拳擦掌，只不过目的不纯。昨日我们输给了这支球队，大家因此情绪低落，队友们埋怨投手罚球命中率低，而投手责怪控球后卫在没有出现空档的情况下胡乱投篮，整个上午带球训练时争论一直没有消停下来，彼此之间相互抨击，午餐时分我们一分为二，双边成员互不讲话，要知道在打北卡大学队之前几个小时，我们需要应对杜克大学队，队员们根本没心思打这场比赛。

        与杜克大学队交手我们先声夺人，开始领先四分，此刻我对打赢这场球信心剧增；当比分拉开十九分时，大家越打越疯。接下来对方发起反攻，每次换人，比分就缩小四分左右。第四节上，因为杜克大学队头号球星投进两个罚球，结果把比分拉平而进入加时赛。问题在于，此篮球营时间排得很紧，加时赛不能太长，因此采用骤死赛，任何罚球奏效或投篮得分都算赢。我们首先得球，在运球过程中，本队最佳投篮手之一因对方犯规而在犯规线上投篮，可是两发两误，即刻我意识到大势已去，这时杜克大学队球星面前又出现空档，他稳稳当当把球送进篮框，比赛到此结束。

        夜战北卡大学队时，我们咬紧牙关顶住对方猛杀猛打，不管多么尽力，都未能扭转失败的局面。说来本队防守没问题，但进攻组织环节薄弱，有一节得分极低，恐怕是我至今所见最差的，北卡大学队赢得了主动。从赛场来看，北卡队并非面对两种不同的比赛，而是士气不断高昂，在带球、投篮和传球上斗志旺盛，不放弃任何机会争抢篮板球，最后他们鼎力出击连得六分，从而结束了较量。

        北卡大学队以十三分的优势再次获胜，而我们乔治亚理工学院则以赢一场输三场的战绩名列老末，至此倒让人感觉像输掉了十三场倒霉的比赛。
