在楓葉即將染紅的時候。

這——是真的嗎？  

我寧死也不願相信。。。

二十歲，

花一樣的季節。

為何你的年輪，

竟止於此！         

記得05年的母親節，

陳老師的學生演奏會。

我們第一次見到你，

你是那樣天真而富有靈氣！

爾後的數次演奏會，

你總是壓軸而出。

每次都讓我感受到，

或許這是貝多芬、肖邦再世！

再以後幾年，

我們沒有過多的交集。

但徜徉在音樂學校的時候，

我總能看到你獲獎的消息。

我曾錄下你，

數次演奏會的音頻。

但可咒的便攜式硬盤，

讓記憶永遠毀在旦夕。。。

就像現在的你我，

告別，竟變成了完成式！

但你的鋼琴天賦，

永遠留在我的腦回里。

安琪，一路走好，

天堂的路，

不會再有煩惱和痛苦，

可愛的天使們將會和你在一起！

You passed, just like that,

At a time maple leaves were about to turn red.

Could this ----- really have happened?

I’d rather believe it was a lie

Till the time I die.

Twenty years of age,

In life, a blossoming stage.

How come your young life had to stop?!

To such a screeching halt?

I remember in 2005, on Mother’s Day,

At a recital for Ms. Chen’s students, you played.

It was the first time we met.

So innocent you looked,

What an amazing talent you showed.

In many recitals afterwards,

The grand finale you always performed.

Each time it sounded like

Beethoven and Chopin performing live.

After that, several years passed.

Seldom intersected, was each of our life path.

But I frequently found in the Merit School on Music,

Your winning prizes, the highlights in their Bulletins.

Many times I made

Videotapes recordings of the concerts you played.

The cursed portable hard drive was accidental broken,

Beautiful memories, now forever crashed in seconds….

Just like the way you and I are now

Past tense it has turned into, our farewell.

What is forever carved in my mind,  

Your magnificent piano talent, I find.

Go in peace, dear Angie.

The road to heaven,

No more trouble or pain.

Lovely angels shall forever be with you again.
