1. 对物质的追求，让魔鬼更容易领你入歧途。 对物质的追求就是你对魔鬼敞开大门。

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

2. 作为牧师谈论这事。并认为是应该的非常不恰当。听众很容易认为开好车是件好事。而且很容易让听众认为他们也应该送牧师什么东西。

3. 这世界上还有很多人，很多需要帮助的人。这些钱完全可以用在帮助brother in need。

 John 3:17  ESV        

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

4.这点最重要。也最容易被忽略。对物质的追求。甚至喜好，就是罪恶的源泉。圣经应该说了无数次不应该去追求物质享受。而且圣经应该讲了该去追求什么。一个牧师不讲该追求的东西。反而津津乐道一些垃圾。哈哈哈。反正我是不会听的。一个牧师的职责应该是告诫。教导大家为啥改放弃对物质的追求。为啥要追求神。然后怎么去应对每天，每时周围环境对我们产生的诱惑。也就是怎么去修。怎么修到可以理解而且可以抵制这些诱惑。 这就是为啥我不去教会的原因。没有一个教会会讲这些东西。他们自己都不知道。或知道也不会讲。因为他们需要的就是钱。

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
