彼得后书1
4因此他已将又宝贵又极大的应许赐给我们，叫我们既脱离世上从情欲来的败坏，就得与神的性情有分。 
Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

11这样，必叫你们丰丰富富地，得以进入我们主救主耶稣基督永远的国。 
and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

彼得书信所讲应许都是基督再来拯救的应许，因此信徒脱离世上是真正的脱离世上，即死后复活的荣耀。即进入基督永远的国，即父神的天国，那时父与子同坐宝座掌权为王！基督有肉身降世地上的中保国，也有灵升天后与父同掌权的天国，此天国包括了后来加入的地上国。见启示录 - 第 11 章 第 15 节 第七位天使吹号，天上就有大声音说，世上的国，成了我主和主基督的国。他要作王，直到永永远远。The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."

16我们从前，将我们主耶稣基督的大能，和他降临的事，告诉你们，并不是随从乖巧捏造的虚言，乃是亲眼见过他的威荣。 
We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17他从父神得尊贵荣耀的时候，从极大荣光之中，有声音出来向他说，这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。 
For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."
18我们同他在圣山的时候，亲自听见这声音从天上出来。 
We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.

这是彼得亲自见证耶稣登上变像时与父神同在的天国异象，见太17，可9和路9的记载。彼得认为他所见的异象是耶稣复活升天后在天国受到父神赐予他尊贵荣耀的异象（he received honor and glory from God the Father）

彼得后书2

1从前在百姓中有假先知起来，将来在你们中间，也必有假师傅，私自引进陷害人的异端，连买他们的主他们也不承认，自取速速地灭亡。 
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
2将有许多人随从他们邪淫的行为，便叫真道，因他们的缘故被毁谤。 
Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
3他们因有贪心，要用捏造的言语，在你们身上取利。他们的刑罚，自古以来并不迟延，他们的灭亡也必速速来到（原文作也不打盹）。 
In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
4就是天使犯了罪，神也没有宽容，曾把他们丢在地狱，交在黑暗坑中，等候审判。For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;5神也没有宽容上古的世代，曾叫洪水临到那不敬虔的世代，却保护了传义道的挪亚一家八口。 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;

11就是天使，虽然力量权能更大，还不用毁谤的话在主面前告他们。 
Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings; yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord.

13行的不义，就得了不义的工价。这些人喜爱白昼宴乐，他们已被玷污，又有瑕疵，正与你们一同坐席，就以自己的诡诈为快乐。They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.

彼得认为的将来出现的假师傅是被主耶稣赎买的，后来随从私欲成为不敬虔的信徒，虽然知道义却走不义的路的信徒，因行的不义，就得了不义的工价。彼得两次把这些人和天使比较，即原本是算做无罪的人。

19他们应许人得以自由，自己却作败坏的奴仆。因为人被谁制伏就是谁的奴仆。 
They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity--for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.
20倘若他们因认识主救主耶稣基督，得以脱离世上的污秽，后来又在其中被缠住制伏，他们末后的景况，就比先前更不好了。 
If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
21他们晓得义路，竟背弃了传给他们的圣命，倒不如不晓得为妙。 
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
22俗语说得真不错，狗所吐的，它转过来又吃。猪洗净了，又回到泥里去滚。这话在他们身上正合式。 
Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."

彼得认为的假师傅晓得义路，但背弃了传给他们的圣命，自己作了罪的奴仆。可见，彼得认为的假师傅并不是魔鬼撒的稗子， 而是离弃真道的基督徒。这就彻底否定信徒一信就灵、信徒不失信不失丧（救恩不失落）的谬论！泥脏猪洗净了，又回到里去滚！这是多么形像的信徒的再次失丧啊！
