Trade talks between the Knicks and Rockets to send Carmelo Anthony to Houston are expected to heat up now that New York has acquired Tim Hardaway Jr., and Anthony's camp is confident a deal will be completed before the start of the season.

According to ESPN.com, Anthony is willing to waive his no-trade clause to join Chris Paul and James Harden. The report also says the Knicks do not imagine a scenario where Hardaway is sharing the floor with Anthony this fall.

Which is fine by Anthony and his possible future Houston teammates.
