1. Four days ago, Egypt scored almost 6 minutes into the second half injury time in Cairo against Algeria to force this sudden death match in Sudan, fittingly against the very same opponent.  While almost everyone other than Algerian believed Egyptian would carry on to South Africa to make their 1st World Cup since 1990, it is the Algerian who laughed at last to make back to the big stage for the first time since 1986.

2. Another Upset! Empire Otto has his old magic working to its perfection after Greece's improbably run in 2004 by scrapping out yet another win, this time against a confident Ukraine side in Kiev.  A tearful Andriy Shevchenko walking by celebrating Greek players says it all.
