with so much debt, there is no way america can afford high interest rate.

10% interest rate will have american govt go bankrupt instantly. They can't service theyr debt. It is way too big. GDP number is fudged.

I doubt anyone else will buy their debt from this point on. Especially when they can't afford to import more from foreign countries. If chinese can't export toys and make a profit, they are not going to buy more US debt. Printing is never a solution. You will feel good short term but long term you will destroy everything.
And I believe they want to destroy it. Cause I really don't think Americans can afford to work very hard to pay the baby boomers' retirement and pay back the debt at the same time. Another important thing is that banks are broke, so there is little incentive to keep the dollar up. I see a USD crash comming. But I think EURO will crash before USD.
