The most significant factor in the report is huge repatriations by US companies in the amount of handreds of billions.
Divestment, not investment, by US companies from Europe alone is $217 billion, which means investment of the same amount in US market.
In contrast, Chine enjoyed 6% increase of FDI for first half of 2018, total of $70 billion.
