The future of international politics has three important pillars. The first, the USA; the second, China; and the third is Russia. These are the first level of international super powers now and in the future. Coming to the next are France, Germany, Japan, India English, and others. Since the end of the second world war, international situation changed quite a lot. History brings out what should be a powerful country and what is not. And from now on and until the forseeable future, the front runner will be always the front runner and the second follower will always be the follower. This situation will last a very long time. Why the socond level countries like Germany, France, Japan and English can't compete with the US, China and Russia? I think history determines such arrangement. It is determined by the territory and by the population. The super powers must pocess both of these two factors, otherwise, they must be the second level ones, the second level international powers. English is a very smart country that he has sensed this situation eversince the second world war was over. As soon as the was ended, English withdrew from India, Hongkong, and other colonies. They knew that they could not afford to manage or to dominate the world affairs anymore. This country willingly stepped back from the front line to the second which is a very smart strategy. The Germany and Frencce do the same thing. Germany disliked and doesn't trust the USA because they were defeated by the US two times, the First World War and the Second World War. But Germany recognized the reasons why they were defeated. Germany also willingly withdrew to the second line. The future warfare is difficult to predict. Countries pocessing this ability may promise to be cautious or not to use nuclear weapons in the future war, but war is a matter of death-and-live matter between the fighting parties, no one would believe nuclear weapon would never be used. If such a war erupts, As Japan is small, Japan may not be able to resist a first strike. And never say never. Japanese are hardworking people, but they have a fatal weak-point. That is "shortsightedness". Japanese soldiers are militant and brave. They can win small battles quickly but always failed in big warfare. The first world war and the second world war are evident. Japan must re-examine their own position in the existing world struggles today. Don't think they are a super power. They are not in the front line anymore, don't trust too much on their supporter, and be kind with their neighbours. Japan is an Asian country, should think about benefiting Asian countries first. If Japan cannot retrospect these essential points, Japan may still have to live under the dark shape of nuclear weapons that would be the most miserable tragedy for the people. |
