保羅論靈肉二律掙扎，到最後是如何脫離罪的律的呢?
我真是苦啊! 這趨死的身體。怎麼辦? 靠着主釘死肉體! 背起十字架!
羅馬書 - 第 6 章 第 17 節
感謝神，因為你們從前雖然作罪的奴僕，現今卻從心裡順服了所傳給你們道理的模範。
羅馬書 - 第 7 章 第 25 節
感謝神，靠着我們的主耶穌基督就能脫離了這樣看來，我以內心順服神的律。我肉體卻順服罪的律了。

這樣，怎麼說呢？我們可以仍在罪中，叫恩典顯多嗎？
1. What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?
斷乎不可。我們在罪上死了的人，豈可仍在罪中活着呢？ By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
豈不知我們這受洗歸入基督耶穌的人，是受洗歸入他的死嗎？Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
所以，我們借着洗禮歸入死，和他一同埋葬，原是叫我們一舉一動有新生的樣式，像基督借着父的榮耀從死里復活一樣。We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life。
6. 因為知道我們的舊人和他同釘十字架，使罪身滅絕，叫我們不再作罪的奴僕。
6. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--
7. 因為已死的人，是脫離了罪。
7. because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
8. 我們若是與基督同死，就信必與他同活。8. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
9. 因為知道基督既從死里復活，就不再死，死也不再作他的主了。
9. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
肉體已死的人，脫離的是不再繼續犯罪了! 如果信徒繼續犯罪，說明沒有完全釘死肉體! 所以要時時釘死肉體，謹慎忍耐地持守信耶穌，靠耶穌，忠心於耶穌!
釘死肉體，才有新生(重生)!，才有聖靈的更新! 肉體死去吧! 莫要脫累靈魂。肉體死，靈魂才活，不但重生，而且死後復活!
我們在罪上死了的人，豈可仍在罪中活着嗎? 讓恩典顯多嗎? 斷乎不可!! 對應約一3:9中的"他也不能犯罪，因為他是由神生的* 。
