Visiting (or being visited by) and feasting with relatives and friends and greeting each other with happy New Year good wishes and gifts are good.

基督徒要不要拜年？ No, if 年 still means to some of us the legendary devil of misfortune that comes to haunt us every year. Christians should do away with any part of a custom that are against God's teaching. For example, we should not bow down and worship any non-God spirit or deceased ancestors. But we can still pay homage to our beloved ancestors by commemorating their lives with our thanksgiving to God.

只是神又說
14:1 信心軟弱的，你們要接納，但不要辯論所疑惑的事。 (Romans)
所以我們不要在這件事上 辯論, instead , "各人心裡要意見堅定"!

警察的故事，又是另一個不完全一樣的問題了

我若是警察， 那賊若是偷別人的東西， 一定抓！因為
賊和警察都是在律法下。(主)他來不是要廢去律法!

那賊若是偷我的東西，我就禱告，若神給我信心我就放
膽讓他偷，若主借我遇見這事好讓他得救， 那就讓我和
他都在神的恩典下！

如若不然， 我還是一定要抓他， 因為"凡不出於信心的
