Piney woods, azalea hills, paddy fields

I dreamed a dream, sailing across the ocean

Mud toys, stone games, rifle playing
with a bottle of joys, I tasted wine
hoping one day, I can fly like a hero afar

collecting paddy with my dog
I visioned a vision, being joined the Army
fighting Americans on the big screen

Mother's grey hair, busy in the dark
She reminds me, this is Friday evening
Dad will be back from his factory
