I tend to have both/and way of thinking.

We surely need to obey the government. AND we need to show civil disobedience when the government uses its power to its own advantage and disrespect its own constitution and laws.

These two things must go hand in hand. If not hand in hand, then we either obey the government no matter what, which is not a biblical view (since God, not government, demands our supreme allegiance). Alternatively, people may well topple any government that they do not like.
