Many thanks for your good sharing, brother
It can be fairly accurately said that healing, among other spiritual gifts, serves often as a sign of the power of the gospel. To gain insight in our discussion, it pays to re-read the story of the healing of a paralytic in Mark 2. There Jesus demonstrated his invisible power of forgiveness by showing a visible act of healing. The primary purpose was the forgiveness of sin, the healing was only secondary.
Jesus did not intend to heal everyone he met, nor did he heal everyone. Even those who were healed once died of some sicknesses later in their lives. The miraculous signs and wonders served to demonstrate his divine power. Such power did not automatically draw people to faith-based relation with God.
Mark
