尋求神的引導
約：7/17-18 人 若 立 志 遵 著 他 的 旨 意 行 ， 就 必 曉 得 這 教 訓 或 是 出 於 神 ， 或 是 我 憑 著 自 己 說 的 。 If any man is ready to do God's pleasure he will have knowledge of the teaching and of where it comes from--from God or from myself.
人 憑 著 自 己 說 ， 是 求 自 己 的 榮 耀 。 惟 有 求 那 差 他 來 者 的 榮 耀 ， 這 人 是 真 的 ， 在 他 心 里 沒 有 不 義 。 The man whose words come from himself is looking for glory for himself, but he who is looking for the glory of him who sent him--that man is true and there is no evil in him.
太：11/28-29 凡 勞 苦 擔 重 擔 的 人 ， 可 以 到 我 這 里 來 ， 我 就 使 你 們 得 安 息 。 Come to me, all you who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest.
我 心 里 柔 和 謙 卑 ， 你 們 當 負 我 的 軛 ， 學 我 的 樣 式 ， 這 樣 ， 你 們 心 里 就 必 得 享 安 息 。 Take my yoke on you and become like me, for I am gentle and without pride, and you will have rest for your souls;
一． 神有隱密性的主權
申：29/29 隱 秘 的 事 是 屬 耶 和 華 我 們 神 的 。 惟 有 明 顯 的 事 是 永 遠 屬 我 們 和 我 們 子 孫 的 ， 好 叫 我 們 遵 行 這 律 法 上 的 一 切 話 。 The secret things are the Lord our God's: but the things which have been made clear are ours and our children's for ever, so that we may do all the words of this law.
伯：26/14 看 哪 ， 這 不 過 是 神 工 作 的 些 微 。 我 們 所 聽 於 他 的 ， 是 何 等 細 微 的 聲 音 。 他 大 能 的 雷 聲 誰 能 明 透 呢 ？ See, these are only the outskirts of his ways; and how small is that which comes to our ears about him! But the thunder of his acts of power is outside all knowledge.
箴：25/2 將 事 隱 秘 ， 乃 神 的 榮 耀 。 將 事 察 清 ， 乃 君 王 的 榮 耀 。 It is the glory of God to keep a thing secret: but the glory of kings is to have it searched out.
羅：11/33-36 深 哉 ， 神 豐 富 的 智 慧 和 知 識 。 他 的 判 斷 ， 何 其 難 測 ， 他 的 蹤 跡 ， 何 其 難 尋 ， O how deep is the wealth of the wisdom and knowledge of God! no one is able to make discovery of his decisions, and his ways may not be searched out.
34 誰 知 道 主 的 心 ？ 誰 作 過 他 的 謀 士 呢 ？ Who has knowledge of the mind of the Lord? or who has taken part in his purposes?
35 誰 是 先 給 了 他 ， 使 他 後 來 償 還 呢 ？ Or who has first given to him, and it will be given back to him again?
36 因 為 萬 有 都 是 本 於 他 ， 倚 靠 他 ， 歸 於 他 。 願 榮 耀 歸 給 他 ， 直 到 永 遠 。 阿 們 。 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things. To him be the glory for ever. So be it.
二． 尋求者生命的光景
約16:12-14 我 還 有 好 些 事 要 告 訴 你 們 、 但 你 們 現 在 擔 當 不 了 。 〔 或 作 不 能 領 會 〕 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
16:13 只 等 真 理 的 聖 靈 來 了 、 他 要 引 導 你 們 明 白 〔 原 文 作 進 入 〕 一 切 的 真 理 ． 因 為 他 不 是 憑 自 己 說 的 、 乃 是 把 他 所 聽 見 的 都 說 出 來 ． 並 要 把 將 來 的 事 告 訴 你 們 。 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
16:14 他 要 榮 耀 我 ． 因 為 他 要 將 受 於 我 的 、 告 訴 你 們 。 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
腓：3/16 然 而 我 們 到 了 什 麼 地 步 ， 就 當 照 著 什 麼 地 步 行 。 Only, as far as we have got, let us be guided by the same rule.
羅：8/28 我 們 曉 得 萬 事 都 互 相 效 力 ， 叫 愛 神 的 人 得 益 處 ， 就 是 按 他 旨 意 被 召 的 人 。 And we are conscious that all things are working together for good to those who have love for God, and have been marked out by his purpose.
三． 神的引導有個別差異性 (神選召個人的職事不同)
塞：54/2-3 要 擴 張 你 帳 幕 之 地 ， 張 大 你 居 所 的 幔 子 ， 不 要 限 止 ， 要 放 長 你 的 繩 子 ， 堅 固 你 的 橛 子 。 Make wide the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your house be stretched out without limit: make your cords long, and your tent-pins strong.
因 為 你 要 向 左 向 右 開 展 。 你 的 後 裔 必 得 多 國 為 業 ， 又 使 荒 涼 的 城 邑 有 人 居 住 。 For I will make wide your limits on the right hand and on the left; and your seed will take the nations for a heritage, and make the waste towns full of people.
羅：9/14-16 這 樣 ， 我 們 可 說 什 麼 呢 ？ 難 道 神 有 什 麼 不 公 平 嗎 ？ 斷 乎 沒 有 。 What may we say then? is God not upright? let it not be said. 因 他 對 摩 西 說 ， 我 要 憐 憫 誰 ， 就 憐 憫 誰 ， 要 恩 待 誰 ， 就 恩 待 誰 。 For he says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and pity on whom I will have pity.
據 此 看 來 ， 這 不 在 乎 那 定 意 的 ， 也 不 在 乎 那 奔 跑 的 ， 只 在 乎 發 憐 憫 的 神 。 So then, it is not by the desire or by the attempt of man, but by the mercy of God.
弗：2/8 你 們 得 救 是 本 乎 恩 ， 也 因 著 信 ， 這 並 不 是 出 於 自 己 ， 乃 是 神 所 賜 的 。 Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God:
多：3/4-5 但 到 了 神 我 們 救 主 的 恩 慈 ， 和 他 向 人 所 施 的 慈 愛 顯 明 的 時 候 ， But when the mercy of God our Saviour, and his love to man was seen,
他 便 救 了 我 們 ， 並 不 是 因 我 們 自 己 所 行 的 義 ， 乃 是 照 他 的 憐 憫 ， 借 著 重 生 的 洗 ， 和 聖 靈 的 更 新 。 Not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but in the measure of his mercy, he gave us salvation, through the washing of the new birth and the giving of new life in the Holy Spirit,
四． 神的引導有策略性，季節性，地域性，局部性
但：12/4但 以 理 阿 ， 你 要 隱 藏 這 話 ， 封 閉 這 書 ， 直 到 末 時 。 必 有 多 人 來 往 奔 跑 （ 或 作 切 心 研 究 ） ， 知 識 就 必 增 長 。 But as for you, O Daniel, let the words be kept secret and the book rolled up and kept shut till the time of the end: numbers will be going out of the way and troubles will be increased.
但：12/13你 且 去 等 候 結 局 ， 因 為 你 必 安 歇 。 到 了 末 期 ， 你 必 起 來 ， 享 受 你 的 福 分 。 But you, go on your way and take your rest: for you will be in your place at the end of the days.
塞：55/6當 趁 耶 和 華 可 尋 找 的 時 候 尋 找 他 ， 相 近 的 時 候 求 告 他 。 Make search for the Lord while he is there, make prayer to him while he is near:
太：24/32-34你 們 可 以 從 無 花 果 樹 學 個 比 方 。 當 樹 枝 發 嫩 長 葉 的 時 候 ， 你 們 就 知 道 夏 天 近 了 。 Now take an example from the fig-tree: when her branch has become soft and puts out its leaves, you are certain that the summer is near;
33 這 樣 ， 你 們 看 見 這 一 切 的 事 ， 也 該 知 道 人 子 近 了 ， 正 在 門 口 了 。 Even so, when you see all these things, you may be certain that he is near, even at the doors.
34 我 實 在 告 訴 你 們 ， 這 世 代 還 沒 有 過 去 ， 這 些 事 都 要 成 就 。
Truly I say to you, This generation will not come to an end till all these things are complete.
約：13/7耶 穌 回 答 說 ， 我 所 作 的 ， 你 如 今 不 知 道 ， 後 來 必 明 白 。 And Jesus, answering, said to him, What I do is not clear to you now, but it will be clear to you in time to come.
林前12:4 恩 賜 原 有 分 別 、 聖 靈 卻 是 一 位 。 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
12:5職 事 也 有 分 別 、 主 卻 是 一 位 。 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
五． 人容易從外面來的催促而作不屬神決定
徒：27/10-13眾 位 ， 我 看 這 次 行 船 ， 不 但 貨 物 和 船 要 受 傷 損 ， 大 遭 破 壞 ， 連 我 們 的 性 命 也 難 保 。 Saying, Friends, I see that this journey will be one of great damage and loss, not only to the goods and the ship, but to ourselves.
11 但 百 夫 長 信 從 掌 船 的 和 船 主 ， 不 信 從 保 羅 所 說 的 。 But the captain gave more attention to the master and the owner of the ship than to what Paul said.
12 且 因 在 這 海 口 過 冬 不 便 ， 船 上 的 人 ， 就 多 半 說 ， 不 如 開 船 離 開 這 地 方 ， 或 者 能 到 非 尼 基 過 冬 。 非 尼 基 是 革 哩 底 的 一 個 海 口 ， 一 面 朝 東 北 ， 一 面 朝 東 南 。 And as the harbour was not a good one in which to be for the winter, the greater number of them were for going out to sea, in order, if possible, to put in for the winter at Phoenix, a harbour of Crete, looking to the north-east and south-east.
13 這 時 微 微 起 了 南 風 ， 他 們 以 為 得 意 ， 就 起 了 錨 ， 貼 近 革 哩 底 行 去 。 And when the south wind came softly, being of the opinion that their purpose might be effected, they let the ship go and went sailing down the side of Crete, very near to the land.

六． 從神來的豐滿啟示
約：10/10 盜 賊 來 ， 無 非 要 偷 竊 ， 殺 害 ， 毀 壞 。 我 來 了 ， 是 要 叫 羊 （ 或 作 人 ） 得 生 命 ， 並 且 得 的 更 豐 盛 。 The thief comes only to take the sheep and to put them to death: he comes for their destruction: I have come so that they may have life and have it in greater measure.
• 聖靈的感動
羅：8/6體 貼 肉 體 的 ， 就 是 死 ， 體 貼 聖 靈 的 ， 乃 是 生 命 ， 平 安 。For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
羅：8/27鑒 察 人 心 的 ， 曉 得 聖 靈 的 意 思 因 為 聖 靈 照 著 神 的 旨 意 替 聖 徒 祈 求 。 And he who is the searcher of hearts has knowledge of the mind of the Spirit, because he is making prayers for the saints in agreement with the mind of God.
• 神話語的帶領
詩 119:105 你 的 話 是 我 腳 前 的 燈 、 是 我 路 上 的 光 。 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
詩119:165 愛 你 律 法 的 人 、 有 大 平 安 ． 甚 麼 都 不 能 使 他 們 絆 腳 。 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
賽 40:8 草 必 枯 干 、 花 必 凋 殘 、 惟 有 我 們 神 的 話 、 必 永 遠 立 定 。 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
• 同心夥伴的扶持
傳：4/9-10 兩 個 人 總 比 一 個 人 好 ， 因 為 二 人 勞 碌 同 得 美 好 的 果 效 。 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their work.
若 是 跌 倒 ， 這 人 可 以 扶 起 他 的 同 伴 。 若 是 孤 身 跌 倒 ， 沒 有 別 人 扶 起 他 來 。 這 人 就 有 禍 了 。 And if one has a fall, the other will give him a hand; but unhappy is the man who is by himself, because he has no helper.
• 屬靈長輩的應證
林後：10/8主 賜 給 我 們 權 柄 是 要 造 就 你 們 ， 並 不 是 要 敗 壞 你 們 。 我 就 是 為 這 權 柄 稍 微 夸 口 ， 也 不 至 於 慚 愧 。 For though I might take pride in our authority (which the Lord gave for building you up, and not for your destruction), it will not be a cause of shame to me:
林後：13/10所 以 我 不 在 你 們 那 里 的 時 候 ， 把 這 話 寫 給 你 們 ， 好 叫 我 見 你 們 的 時 候 ， 不 用 照 主 所 給 我 的 權 柄 ， 嚴 厲 地 待 你 們 。 這 權 柄 原 是 為 造 就 人 ， 並 不 是 為 敗 壞 人 。 For this cause I am writing these things while I am away, so that there may be need for me, when I am present, to make use of sharp measures, by the authority which the Lord has given me for building up and not for destruction.
• 環境的興起
羅8:28 我 們 曉 得 萬 事 都 互 相 效 力 、 叫 愛 神 的 人 得 益 處 、 就 是 按 他 旨 意 被 召 的 人 。 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
林後：8/12 因 為 人 若 有 願 作 的 心 ， 必 蒙 悅 納 ， 乃 是 照 他 所 有 的 ， 並 不 是 照 他 所 無 的 。 For if there is a ready mind, a man will have God's approval in the measure of what he has, and not of what he has not.
七． 完成主召
羅：8/30 預 先 所 定 下 的 人 又 召 他 們 來 。 所 召 來 的 人 ， 又 稱 他 們 為 義 。 所 稱 為 義 的 人 ， 又 叫 他 們 得 榮 耀 。 And those who were marked out by him were named; and those who were named were given righteousness; and to those to whom he gave righteousness, in the same way he gave glory.
多：2/11-13 因 為 神 救 眾 人 的 恩 典 ， 已 經 顯 明 出 來 ， For the grace of God has come, giving salvation to all men,
教 訓 我 們 除 去 不 敬 虔 的 心 ， 和 世 俗 的 情 欲 ， 在 今 世 自 守 ， 公 義 ， 敬 虔 度 日 。 Training us so that, turning away from evil and the desires of this world, we may be living wisely and uprightly in the knowledge of God in this present life;
等 候 所 盼 望 的 福 ， 並 等 候 至 大 的 神 ， 和 （ 或 作 無 和 字 ） 我 們 救 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 榮 耀 顯 現 。 Looking for the glad hope, the revelation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ;
來：2/10-11 原 來 那 為 萬 物 所 屬 ， 為 萬 物 所 本 的 ， 要 領 許 多 的 兒 子 進 榮 耀 里 去 ， 使 救 他 們 的 元 帥 ， 因 受 苦 難 得 以 完 全 ， 本 是 合 宜 的 。 Because it was right for him, for whom and through whom all things have being, in guiding his sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation complete through pain.
因 那 使 人 成 聖 的 ， 和 那 些 得 以 成 聖 的 ， 都 是 出 於 一 。 所 以 他 稱 他 們 為 弟 兄 ， 也 不 以 為 恥 ， For he who makes holy and those who are made holy are all of one family; and for this reason it is no shame for him to give them the name of brothers,
彼後：1/19 我 們 並 有 先 知 更 確 的 預 言 ， 如 同 燈 照 在 暗 處 。 你 們 在 這 預 言 上 留 意 ， 直 等 到 天 發 亮 晨 星 在 你 們 心 里 出 現 的 時 候 ， 才 是 好 的 。 And so the words of the prophets are made more certain; and it is well for you to give attention to them as to a light shining in a dark place, till the dawn comes and the morning star is seen in your hearts;
• 神許可難處
約：16/33 我 將 這 些 事 告 訴 你 們 ， 是 要 叫 你 們 在 我 里 面 有 平 安 。 在 世 上 你 們 有 苦 難 。 但 你 們 可 以 放 心 ， 我 已 經 勝 了 世 界 。 I have said all these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble: but take heart! I have overcome the world.
貼前：3/3 免 得 有 人 被 諸 般 患 難 搖 動 。 因 為 你 們 自 己 知 道 我 們 受 患 難 原 是 命 定 的 。 So that no man might be moved by these troubles; because you see that these things are part of God's purpose for us.
彼前：2/20-21 你 們 若 因 犯 罪 受 責 打 ， 能 忍 耐 ， 有 什 麼 可 夸 的 呢 ？ 但 你 們 若 因 行 善 受 苦 ， 能 忍 耐 ， 這 在 神 看 是 可 喜 愛 的 。 What credit is it if, when you have done evil, you take your punishment quietly? but if you are given punishment for doing right, and take it quietly, this is pleasing to God.
你 們 蒙 召 原 是 為 此 。 因 基 督 也 為 你 們 受 過 苦 ， 給 你 們 留 下 榜 樣 ， 叫 你 們 跟 隨 他 的 腳 蹤 行 。 This is God's purpose for you: because Jesus himself underwent punishment for you, giving you an example, so that you might go in his footsteps:
彼前：4/1基 督 既 在 肉 身 受 苦 ， 你 們 也 當 將 這 樣 的 心 志 作 為 兵 器 。 因 為 在 肉 身 受 過 苦 的 ， 就 已 經 與 罪 斷 絕 了 。 So that as Jesus was put to death in the flesh, do you yourselves be of the same mind; for the death of the flesh puts an end to sin;
• 神總是有他的美意
林後：13/5你 們 總 要 自 己 省 察 有 信 心 沒 有 。 也 要 自 己 試 驗 。 豈 不 知 你 們 若 不 是 可 棄 絕 的 ， 就 有 耶 穌 基 督 在 你 們 心 里 嗎 ？
Make a test of yourselves, if you are in the faith; make certain of yourselves. Or are you not conscious in yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you, if you are truly Christ's?
彼後：1/3-4神 的 神 能 已 將 一 切 關 乎 生 命 和 虔 敬 的 事 賜 給 我 們 ， 皆 因 我 們 認 識 那 用 自 己 榮 耀 和 美 德 召 我 們 的 主 。
Because by his power he has given us everything necessary for life and righteousness, through the knowledge of him who has been our guide by his glory and virtue;
因 此 他 已 將 又 寶 貴 又 極 大 的 應 許 賜 給 我 們 ， 叫 我 們 既 脫 離 世 上 從 情 欲 來 的 敗 壞 ， 就 得 與 神 的 性 情 有 分 。
And through this he has given us the hope of great rewards highly to be valued; so that by them we might have our part in God's being, and be made free from the destruction which is in the world through the desires of the flesh.
彼後：2/9主 知 道 搭 救 敬 虔 的 人 脫 離 試 探 ， 把 不 義 的 人 留 在 刑 罰 之 下 ， 等 候 審 判 的 日 子 。
The Lord is able to keep the upright safe in the time of testing, and to keep evil-doers under punishment till the day of judging;
• 相信神在凡事上掌權，他毫無差錯
林前：10/13 你 們 所 遇 見 的 試 探 ， 無 非 是 人 所 能 受 的 。 神 是 信 實 的 ， 必 不 叫 你 們 受 試 探 過 於 所 能 受 的 。 在 受 試 探 的 時 候 ， 總 要 給 你 們 開 一 條 出 路 ， 叫 你 們 能 忍 受 得 住 。 You have been put to no test but such as is common to man: and God is true, who will not let any test come on you which you are not able to undergo; but he will make with the test a way out of it, so that you may be able to go through it.
腓：4/6-7 應 當 一 無 掛 慮 ， 只 要 凡 事 借 著 禱 告 ， 祈 求 ， 和 感 謝 ， 將 你 們 所 要 的 告 訴 神 。 Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.
神 所 賜 出 人 意 外 的 平 安 ， 必 在 基 督 耶 穌 里 ， 保 守 你 們 的 心 懷 意 念 。 And the peace of God, which is deeper than all knowledge, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
啟：15/3-4 唱 神 仆 人 摩 西 的 歌 ， 和 羔 羊 的 歌 ， 說 ， 主 神 ， 全 能 者 阿 ， 你 的 作 為 大 哉 ， 奇 哉 。 萬 世 之 王 阿 ， （ 世 或 作 國 ） 你 的 道 途 義 哉 ， 誠 哉 。 And they give the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and full of wonder are your works, O Lord God, Ruler of all; true and full of righteousness are your ways, eternal King.
主 阿 ， 誰 敢 不 敬 畏 你 ， 不 將 榮 耀 歸 與 你 的 名 呢 ？ 因 為 獨 有 你 是 聖 的 。 萬 民 都 要 來 在 你 面 前 敬 拜 。 因 你 公 義 的 作 為 已 經 顯 出 來 了 。 What man is there who will not have fear before you, O Lord, and give glory to your name? because you only are holy; for all the nations will come and give worship before you; for your righteousness has been made clear.
• 單一為主的名和他的榮耀
弗：1/4-6就 如 神 從 創 立 世 界 以 前 ， 在 基 督 里 揀 選 了 我 們 ， 使 我 們 在 他 面 前 成 為 聖 潔 ， 無 有 瑕 疵 。 Even as he made selection of us in him from the first, so that we might be holy and free from all evil before him in love:
又 因 愛 我 們 ， 就 按 著 自 己 意 旨 所 喜 悅 的 ， 預 定 我 們 ， 借 著 耶 穌 基 督 得 兒 子 的 名 分 ， As we were designed before by him for the position of sons to himself, through Jesus Christ, in the good pleasure of his purpose,
使 他 榮 耀 的 恩 典 得 著 稱 贊 。 這 恩 典 是 他 在 愛 子 里 所 賜 給 我 們 的 。 To the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely gave to us in the Loved One:
弗：1/12叫 他 的 榮 耀 ， 從 我 們 這 首 先 在 基 督 里 有 盼 望 的 人 ， 可 以 得 著 稱 贊 。 So that his glory might have praise through us who first had hope in Christ:
弗：1/14這 聖 靈 ， 是 我 們 得 基 業 的 憑 據 ， （ 原 文 作 質 ） 直 等 到 神 之 民 （ 民 原 文 作 產 業 ） 被 贖 ， 使 他 的 榮 耀 得 著 稱 贊 。 Which is the first-fruit of our heritage, till God gets back that which is his, to the praise of his glory.
弗：1/18並 且 照 明 你 們 心 中 的 眼 睛 ， 使 你 們 知 道 他 的 恩 召 有 何 等 指 望 。 他 在 聖 徒 中 得 的 基 業 ， 有 何 等 豐 盛 的 榮 耀 。 And that having the eyes of your heart full of light, you may have knowledge of what is the hope of his purpose, what is the wealth of the glory of his heritage in the saints
帖後1:11-12 因 此 、 我 們 常 為 你 們 禱 告 、 願 我 們 的 神 看 你 們 配 得 過 所 蒙 的 召 ． 又 用 大 能 成 就 你 們 一 切 所 羨 慕 的 良 善 、 和 一 切 因 信 心 所 作 的 工 夫 ． Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
1:12 叫 我 們 主 耶 穌 的 名 、 在 你 們 身 上 得 榮 耀 、 你 們 也 在 他 身 上 得 榮 耀 、 都 照 著 我 們 的 神 並 主 耶 穌 基 督 的 恩 。 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
啟11:15 第 七 位 天 使 吹 號 、 天 上 就 有 大 聲 音 說 、 世 上 的 國 、 成 了 我 主 和 主 基 督 的 國 ． 他 要 作 王 、 直 到 永 永 遠 遠 。 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
