Dear Friend:

Thank you for your willingness to open your heart.

I would like to share with you about the Jesus I know, even though I cannot adequately describe the Lord because of His fullness and my finite knowledge. Rest assured that we will gain fuller understanding when we meet Him face to face. Nevertheless what we have experienced in this life so far with our Lord Jesus is already sufficient for us to earnestly entrust ourselves into his faithful hands with a peace of mind.

As christians, we will go through life enduring sickness, accidents and joblessness, and suffering from persecution even unto death. Luke 10:30 tells of a man being robbed and beaten badly. Be it good or bad with everyday life's circumstances, the Lord intends to bless us in every possible way. But our Lord never promises us with an ever-blue sky that will not turn gloomy. More often than not, christians encounter greater troubles and trials, some even lose everything including their lives on earth. But dear friend, don't lose heart! We still have our Lord with us, we still have His love with us, and nothing can separate us from His love, not even death.

You may not yet understand how real and precious it is to have the love of Jesus with you under any circumstance. It is a heavenly blessing beyond all the other earthly blessings. The love of Jesus becomes our strength and power and peace that will help us overcome any difficulties, not just the loss of jobs.

However, just like you and everyone else, I am an ordinary person, a sinner with all sorts of weaknesses. During those trouble times, I often experienced the same agony as you are having. Here is a good story: Once a father lost his son. This father's heart was broken. He asked God: "Where were you when my son died ?" Our God (Abba Father) answered him:"I was at the same place when my only beloved son died". You see, God has been there in the hour of great sorrow and grave pain. God can identify with us.

Dear friend, God's only beloved Son is our Lord Jesus Christ. If you know God the Son (Jesus), then you know God the Father. The Father and the Son are One (John 10:30). Our Lord Jesus once left his heavenly home, came to the lowly earth, and took on the flesh of an ordinary human being just like you and me. Although he knew no sin as an unblemished Lamb of God, he came to bear the sins of the world. He experienced all the sufferings a man would have on earth, and died on the cross to atone for our sin. This world has been full of evil, ever since sin and death came to the word through rebellion against God by our forefarther Adam. Back in the time of Garden of Eden, everything was good.

To wash away the sin and redeem us, a great price had to be paid. God paid it dearly with his only son, Jesus Christ. And Jesus died willingly on the cross, when those exact sinners that were meant to be saved by his blood crucified the Lamb of God. During the early hours of that afternoon, the sun turned dark, the sin-bearer breathed his last breath and gave his spirit to God the Father. That is why God said: "I was at the same place when my only beloved son died". God has sacrificed his most precious treasure to redeem the sinners, you and me. God never ignored our sufferings in sin and death. He took initiatives to eventually wipe out sin and conquer death. He has accomplished marvelous salvation through Jesus Christ. God showed, in blood and flesh, his love from his heart onto you and me.

Jesus has willingly sacrificed Himself for you, and paid the supreme price for you. Now that you are still suffering. The foremost question to ask is: Are you willing to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord for your life, and let Him be your great Savior. Tithing is a way for christains to show our thanksgiving to God the Ultimate Giver. But tithing is not needed for God's own sake, because He is the creator of the universe and he is all self-sufficient. But the verse in Malachi(3:10) is true, if you are willing to tithe from your heart as a way to show your love to God above anything else, God will bless you in ways unimagined by you. The bottom line is that tithing has to come from your heart of loving God. God has offered his love from his heart to save you, what can you offer from your heart?

What delights God more than tithing or anything else is really your heart. Please accept Jesus as your Savior in your life, repent all your sins and be baptized. Don't love the world, love Jesus instead, because only Jesus loves you with his life. My Lord will become your Lord. He will give you a comforter - the Holy Spirit. And you will live a new life in Christ. This new life is from Jesus because He has sacrificed his own life for you. With this new life, you will be able to muster the supernatural strength to overcome any diffculties in this world. The Lord will be with you, even as you go through the shadow of the valley of death, as long as you have faith in Him. Jesus has resurrected from death by the power of God, what else can He not do? Jesus has sacrificed his own life, what else will He withhold from you?

There is more to say and there is more to learn from our lord. This is a sharing from my heart to your heart. It may not be complete. May the Holy Spirit fill in your heart. May Jesus be the answer. And He will be, because he is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
