老夫偶而也為他們未來的配偶禱告。

去年秋天，老夫按手在兒子頭上，禱告：O Lord, may you bless this young man and plant him as a missionary among the nations to be a vessle of blessing.兒子立刻跳將起來：O no! (笑S老夫也)

有次小三說她不喜歡去天堂，因為那裡有她不大喜歡的某號人，老夫心裡笑完，抓住機會禱告，O Lord, may you help us to love those that we do not like.... 第二天上學的早晨，她改口說，她願意愛那號人，也要去天堂了。

還有一次為大女兒禱告，O Lord, may you prepare that special young man for Sarah, bless him as he grows in wisdom and stature... 她說，她不一定結婚的。(笑S我也)

最近有次家庭circle time，每個人自己為自己也為別人禱告，蠻認真D。

總之，事無巨細，隨時隨地都可以禱告。讓孩子長大成為一個隨時隨地與主親近的人。
