让祷告来承托生活每一部分，我立即想起要祈求的是?
25:21 以撒恳求神赐他儿女，圣经也鼓励我们为自己个人的事和重要的事向神恳求。
神希望应我们所求，但神要我们向他祈求。不过有时神可能暂时不应允我们的祷告，
目的是要：（1）使我们更认识自己真正的需要；（2）使我们更晓得感谢他；（3）
使我们更加成熟，更有智慧运用他的赏赐。
以扫为了一些微不足道的事而忽略了属灵的福分；我又怎样？
25:31-34 长子名分是给头生儿子的特别尊荣，包括将来成为族长并承继家族的双
份产业。长子可以按照自己的意愿，出卖或放弃这个名分，但这样他会失去双份产
业和领袖地位。以扫出卖长子名分，显出他无视属于长子的属灵福分，实际上他轻
看了长子名分（25:34）。
胜过短暂的压力，是克服试探的关键。但有时真难忍受，不知道怎办好
25:32-33 以扫为眼前的一点食物，而出卖他长子名分的永远福分。这是冲动的行
为，只为满足暂时的欲望，而没有考虑长远的后果。我们也会跌入同样的陷阱中。
当我们看到某些渴望拥有的东西时，第一个冲动就是要得到它。开头我们会感到满
足，有时甚至觉得自己满有能力，因为我们能得到自己想要得到的东西。但即时的
满足往往叫我们失去长远的眼光。不过，只要我们在行动之前比较一下短期的满足
感和它的长远后果，我们就能避免重蹈以扫的覆辙。
以扫把肚子饿的情况夸大了，觉得自己快要饿死，这种看法使他很容易作出错
误的选择，即如果他快要饿死，得到产业又有甚么好处？他目前所受的压力影响了
他的想法，以为要立刻作出抉择。我们也会常常受到类似的压力。例如，当我们欲
火焚身时，婚姻的誓言就似乎显得不重要了。当我们觉得某方面的压力大，其他的
事情似乎不再重要时，就容易失去理性。胜过这短暂的压力，是克服试探的关键。

雅各和以扫出生（25：19－26）
1. 以撒的“记”始于25：19，指出他是亚伯拉罕的儿子，在40
岁时成了利百加的丈夫（19：20）。
2. 利百加如撒拉一样不生育，但以撒不同于他的父亲，他“为
她祈求耶和华”。神就答应了他的祷告，奇妙地（超自然地）
使利百加怀了孕（25：21）。
3. 令利百加惊异的是：她怀了双子，而且他们在她腹中就彼此
相争。象丈夫以撒一样，她求问了耶和华，耶和华也回答了
她（25：22－23）。
神的预言指明重要的两点：
1) 每个孩子都将成为一国之父。
2) “自然顺序”将要翻转，大的（以扫）将要服事小
的（雅各）。
罗马书9：6－21对这一段历史给了富有启发的阐释。
以色列（从雅各而来）的整个历史将充满了与以东人（从以

4. 双子出生时以撒年60岁。两个孩子出生和命名的经过都预示
着他们的未来。
先产的是以扫（“红色”或“有毛”的意思），浑身有
毛；后产的是雅各（意为“抓住脚踝的人”）。雅各虽小，
却将不止一次地绊倒其兄（25：24－26）。
5. 甚至两人的事业也预示着将要发生的事。因为以扫善于打猎
（对照宁录，创10：8－9），他□的野味就在他一生中起了
重要作用。以撒爱吃他打的野味，就喜欢以扫。
而雅各喜欢在帐棚里陪伴母亲，因此“利百加爱雅各”
（25：27－28）。这种偏爱就助长了家庭冲突。
6. 二人性格和气质上的不同将逐渐明显起来。
以扫是个感情冲动的人，肉体的欲望使得他鲁莽愚昧、
目光短浅。雅各则是一个机智的投机家，对于占哥哥的便宜
从来觉得问心无愧。
雅各并没有欺骗以扫，让他卖掉长子名分，好得双份的
产业，只不过占了哥哥肉体软弱的便宜（见何12：3－4）。
以扫更关心自己的胃口，而忽略了远比此更有价值的东西。
换句话说，他看不到肚皮之外的东西，他看自己的胃口高过
（“轻看”）长子名分（25：29－34）。
圣经把以扫归类于属肉体的人和不敬神的人（即：贪恋
