你要写信给老底嘉教会的使者，说，那为阿们的，为诚信真实见证的，在神创造万物之上为元首的，说，And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

在关于歌罗西书1：15-18的论述，我们已经明确圣子不属于“所有受造物”这个
范畴的。这里的the beginning of the creation of God不可以翻译成“最先
被上帝创造的”，应该翻译成“上帝创造的起始”，因为“万有都是借着他
造的”嘛。这里的起始(the beginning)不属于上帝创造物这个范畴。如果圣子
属于被造物的话，那应该说the first one of the creation of God。

结论：这段经文也不是说圣子是被造的，是说他在创世时的独特地位，他是创
世的开端，起始，他不是创世的产品，因为“他在万有之先，万有也靠他而立
”(西1：17)。“万有”不能靠着“万有”中的一个而立，因为这个被依靠的要是
属于这“万有” 中的一个的话，那这个“万有”就不是“万有”。
