21:1 [hgb] 耶和华按着先前的话、眷顾撒拉、便照他所说的给撒拉成就。

21:2 [hgb] 当亚伯拉罕年老的时候、撒拉怀了孕．到　神所说的日期、就给亚伯拉罕生了一个儿子。
[lzz] 当亚伯拉罕年老的时候、撒拉怀了孕；到上帝所对他说到的时节就给亚伯拉罕生了一个儿子。
[kjv] For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
[bbe] And Sarah became with child, and gave Abraham a son when he was old, at the time named by God.
21:3 [hgb] 亚伯拉罕给撒拉所生的儿子起名叫以撒。
[lzz] 亚伯拉罕给撒拉为他所生的儿子起名叫以撒。
[kjv] And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.
[bbe] And Abraham gave to his son, to whom Sarah had given birth, the name Isaac.
21:4 [hgb] 以撒生下来第八日、亚伯拉罕照着　神所吩咐的、给以撒行了割礼。
[lzz] 亚伯拉罕的儿子以撒生下来八天、亚伯拉罕就给他行了割礼，照上帝所吩咐他的。
[kjv] And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.
[bbe] And when his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham made him undergo circumcision, as God had said to him.
21:5 [hgb] 他儿子以撒生的时候、亚伯拉罕年一百岁。
[lzz] 他儿子以撒生的时候，亚伯拉罕正一百岁。
[kjv] And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
[bbe] Now Abraham was a hundred years old when the birth of Isaac took place.
21:6 [hgb] 撒拉说、　神使我喜笑、凡听见的必与我一同喜笑。
[lzz] 撒拉说∶「上帝使我喜笑；凡听见的也必为了我而喜笑。」
[kjv] And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
[bbe] And Sarah said, God has given me cause for laughing, and everyone who has news of it will be laughing with me.
21:7 [hgb] 又说、谁能预先对亚伯拉罕说、撒拉要乳养婴孩呢、因为在他年老的时候、我给他生了一个儿子。
[lzz] 又说∶「谁能对亚伯拉罕说，撒拉要乳养儿女呢？在他年老的时候、我竟给他生了一个儿子！」
[kjv] And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.
[bbe] And she said, Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would have a child at her breast? for see, I have given him a son now when he is old.

神能成就不可能的事。我知道，也明白，但好像总有些地方舍不得交托给神……
21:1-7　谁会相信亚伯拉罕到一百岁，还能生孩子，并把他抚养成人呢？但做“不可能的事”是神每天的例行工作。当我们面对重大问题时，只要让神来处理就易如反掌了。

要信靠神的应许！说就容易，有时我实在怕得太厉害了……
21:6-7　神重申应许、两位使者到访和主亲自显现后，撒拉终于带著惊喜欢呼生下了儿子。她曾经因怀疑、忧虑、惧怕而失去在神奇妙应许中的平安。要使愁烦变为平安喜乐，惟一的方法就是专注于神的应许上，相信他必会成就他的应许。

11. 恐怕直到“耶和华照他所说的给撒拉成就”，使撒拉怀孕之
后，亚伯拉罕和撒拉对应许之子的信心才真正坚固起来（21：
1）。
12. “到神所说的日子”，以撒出生了。亚伯拉罕和撒拉为孩子
起名叫以撒（“他喜笑”）并在第八日行割礼；在此显明了他
们的信心。当时亚伯拉罕100岁，撒拉90岁。此时的笑是因
着喜乐，因神成就了不可能之事（21：2－7），应许之子降
生了。
