You apparently failed to understand what I was saying. Let me clarify.

Our lives belong to God ultimately since God is the creator. But after Adamic fall, Satan has stolen our lives. Not only were we held captive by Satan as if Satan owned our lives (at least for a seaon of life), but we were cooperative slaves of sin. In other words, we relinguished our ownership to Satan and we stewarded our lives under the curse and power of sin.

But after we were redeemed by God through Christ, our lives no longer belong to Satan, but solely to God. In light of this new reality, we steward our lives according to God's calling and purpose. In other words, not only the ownership of our lives returned to God the sole rightful owner, but the stewardship of our lives are ever reflecting this new reality of redemption.

If you want to go quantitative about this issue, this is what I have to say: our lives belong to God 100%, our stewardship is aiming toward 100% from 0%. We may never reach 100% stewardship since we will all have failed to various extent in our earthly lives.
