世人蒙昧無知的時候、　神並不監察、如今卻吩咐各處的人都要悔改。

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

因為他已經定了日子、要藉著他所設立的人、按公義審判天下．並且叫他從死裏復活、給萬人作可信的憑據。

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

有一個猶太人、名叫亞波羅、來到以弗所．他生在亞力山太、是有學問的、最能講解聖經。〔學問或作口才〕

And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

18:25

這人已經在主的道上受了教訓、心裏火熱、將耶穌的事、詳細講論教訓人．只是他單曉得約翰的洗禮。

This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

18:26

他在會堂裏放膽講道、百基拉亞居拉聽見、就接他來、將　神的道給他講解更加詳細。

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

18:27

他想要往亞該亞去．弟兄們就勉勵他、並寫信請門徒接待他．〔或作弟兄們就寫信勸門徒接待他〕他到了那裏、多幫助那蒙恩信主的人．

And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

18:28

在眾人面前極有能力、駁倒猶太人、引聖經證明耶穌是基督。

For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

19:5

他們聽見這話、就奉主耶穌的名受洗。

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

19:6

保羅按手在他們頭上、聖靈便降在他們身上．他們就說方言、又說預言。〔或作又講道〕

And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

19:7

一共約有十二個人。

And all the men were about twelve.

保羅進會堂、放膽講道、一連三個月、辯論　神國的事、勸化眾人。

And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

19:9

後來有些人、心裏剛硬不信、在眾人面前毀謗這道、保羅就離開他們、也叫門徒與他們分離、便在推喇奴的學房、天天辯論。

But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

20:17

保羅從米利都打發人往以弗所去、請教會的長老來。

And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

20:18

他們來了、保羅就說、你們知道、自從我到亞西亞的日子以來、在你們中間始終為人如何、

And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

服事主凡事謙卑、眼中流淚、又因猶太人的趾Α⒔洑v試煉。

Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

你們也知道、凡與你們有益的、我沒有一樣避諱不說的．或在眾人面前、或在各人家裏、我都教導你們．

And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

21:18

第二天、保羅同我們去見雅各．長老們也都在那裏。

And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.

21:19

保羅問了他們安、便將　神用他傳教、在外邦人中間所行之事、一一的述說了。

And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.

21:20

他們聽見、就歸榮耀與　神、對保羅說、兄臺、你看猶太人中信主的有多少萬、並且都為律法熱心。

And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

21:36

眾人跟在後面、喊著說、除掉他。

[kjv]

For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.
