Dear Fellowship Chairs, now we all know this year's theme by our pastor today, but it depends on each of us to implement this theme into our church life and our daily life. We all want our church revival, and we can see our church is changing for the better, maybe not faster or greater enough for many of us, but the greater things are coming. And greater things always begin with ourselves, the leadership team.
you see, our Lord is not expecting we all changing into different persons overnight, sometime this kind change is not sustainable, while possible as Paul, But once we keep aware holy spirit surrounding us, our lives will change and grow. Speed is not the concerns, transforming is the sign and the key, no matter how worldly we are or how spiritual we are today, growth is the first sign of all lives, surely it is the sign of our spiritual lives. If we lose this vibrating peace joy and life, we should know we lost the meaning of our faith, and we have no way to testify of Jesus Christ.
How do we know we are growing? our internal spirit is getting richer and richer, sharing this internal goodness with whoever surrounding us getting more urgent, fellowship in Christ get more joyful. .. the outside signs are even more, are your family get more peaceful? are your children get more lovable? are you more courageous when facing challenges? are you affecting people surrounding you to love Lord more?...
so, our revival is not only depending on church events, it is all about our daily overflowing life style, it is how to treat our family members daily,how to communicate with smallest brothers in the church, how to face challenging work environment, because Christ, the hope of glory, is inside us, we will improve daily, no matter how slow or insignificant, that is true revival from inside out and top down. if our church lives can't tramsfrom our daily lives, that will not be a success revival. And this transformation is first beginning with us and within us.
l have a great passion of hoping to fellowship with you, and since I am on flight today, I am able to write a few more words than normal, let us begin first with church's bible reading plan, read bible as your spiritual food, listen to holy spirit speaking throuh bible, and we will begin our weekly teleconferencing soon.
May the passion of Christ and the power of Holy Spirit accomplish greater things in His church in the new year.
