Anne Bradstreet (1612-1672)
- Born in England in 1612, daughter to Thomas Dudley, a clerk
- Married Simon Bradstreet (1603-1697) in 1628 at the age of 16.
- Moved to Boston (The New World) in 1630 with her husband and family
- Considered by many to be the first American poet
- One of the few published female writers at the time
- Published two volumes of poetry
- died in 1672

她的父親是一位伯爵的管家，1622年，起用了剛從Cambridge畢業
的Simon作他的助手，那時Anne剛十歲。不久，Simon和她父親又都
不再為伯爵工作。分別了幾年之後，Anne十六歲時，嫁給了Simon。
所以，對Anne來說，Simon一定是她的初戀情人，加上有宗教的信
仰，兩人相愛，雖然過的是簡單而艱苦的生活(十八歲就來到美國)，
卻很幸福。有八個孩子。

所以，為了贏得Anne的愛情，Simon根本不需要做什麼，實在是他
也做不來什麼。因為Anne愛他，所以他就擁有她一切的愛，雖然他
配不配得到，我們不知道。所以，Anne就是神給他的恩賜。

中國女子原本一點也不少痴情啊。那趙明誠又是何等的運氣？只
可憐命短。Simon君卻是高壽94上才死的。
