安坐在燈光下
是漸漸飄失的魂靈
映照四周 你
如黃昏的陽拂上小溪
你垂釣，遠遠而立
激情奮涌 暴發如雷電
我軟弱的心 同無力的腳
在那時卻陪伴了你

比風暴和戰馬更矯健的船兒
你負載着死亡的真理
鴿子的柔軟的心
在關懷保護中摺疊
戰爭中 真實的只有黑暗
只要是需要 神站在這裡
微笑於你有的安寧罷

AN IMITATION
MY faint spirit was sitting in the light
Of thy looks, my love;
It panted for thee like the hind at noon
For the brooks, my love.
Thy barb, whose hoofs outspeed the tempest's flight, 5
Bore thee far from me;
My heart, for my weak feet were weary soon,
Did companion thee.
Ah! fleeter far than fleetest storm or steed,
Or the death they bear, 10
The heart which tender thought clothes like a dove
With the wings of care;
In the battle, in the darkness, in the need,
Shall mine cling to thee,
Nor claim one smile for all the comfort, love, 15
