
A two-month-old ring-tailed lemur get a lift from mum around their enclosure at Marwell Zoo near Winchester, England, Tuesday June 11, 2002, where staff have managed to produce five young this year from three females; Claire, Glenys, and Martini. Keepers at the zoo have been trying to breed the primates since 1996 when a new male called Genou was brought from Zurich Zoo in Switzerland. They are officially a vulnerable species due to destruction of their habitat in their native Madagascar.

Two infant pygmy lorises make their public debut at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley, Minn., Friday, June 21, 2002. The loris twins, which weighed approximately 20 grams each at birth on June 3, 2002, now weigh approximately 60 grams each and are the first successful twin set ever born at the Minnesota Zoo.
