even if Yao is not very effective offensively when he is fronted or encircled, still Yao has indirectly helped other teammates by loosening up the defense on them for them to look sharp on offense.. Yao is still the best center just for his top-rated defense, whether it is one-on-one against Gosol, Bynum, Odom, Howard, LBJames or Greg Oden.. And if he can rebound well plus catch and shoot a few each game by helping offensively, this is enormous enough as a top center.
