Forever Young 有很多版本，當然最有名還是Rod Stewart 的 (我們老大BraveHeart
好象特別喜歡)。記得大學時宿友買過一盤“歐美最佳男歌星”的專輯，裡面也有一
首Forever Young，記得是Paul Young唱的(如果我記錯了，請糾正我)。那盤專輯還
收錄了很多當時流行的歌曲，包括那一年格萊美上無限風光的Eric Clapton 兩首歌，
一首是Tears in Heaven, 另一首歌名忘了，只記得歌中吉它彈的更好。

Paul Young 1956年出生於英國，小時學過鋼琴與吉他。年輕時一邊工作一邊在酒吧
里表演，主要彈奏吉他，但他希望有一天自己可以擔任主唱。1979年他自組了名叫
“Q-Tips”的八人樂團，巡迴演唱過程中，Paul Young 慢慢懂得如何展現自已歌聲
的特色和個人獨特的表演風格。1982年，Q-Tips解散，保羅獲得與哥倫比亞唱片公
司合約，得以發行個人專輯。

Paul Young 最有名的歌是那首“Every Time You Go Away”，當年曾登上美國
Billboard冠軍寶座。
