相信各位都已經對比賽的進程有所了解。 昨晚在波城， 火箭隊全場落後， 直到最後時刻才將比分扳平， 並終於在加時賽取得勝利。 可惜好事不成雙， 今晚花園廣場一戰， 休斯頓在整場占優的大好形勢下， 晚節不保而飲恨大蘋果。

由於和好友共進晚餐， 進場稍晚。 正當尋覓座位之際， 要命出場， 全場雷動。 身為華人， 倍感自豪。 環顧四周， 皆為同胞。 更有好事之徒， 攜老美同事前來共為要命吶喊助威。 此皆乃閒話， 姑且按下不表。

言歸正傳， 整場比賽要命表現可圈可點， 其餘火箭將士也三軍用命， 無奈扭腰早已窺穿火箭命門， 最後連續發威， 趁火箭軍心大亂之際， 偷得勝利。

現場觀球與電視轉播相比， 最大的好處在於可以看清無球的站位和跑動。 姚明今晚的發揮就象其最後四次觸球 (5分， 兩次失誤)， 功過參半。 除了在比賽最後階段， KURT THOMAS 5犯之後， 姚明對其的防守基本無可奈何。 經常被頂在三秒區外而毫無作為。 除了失誤就是勉強將球傳出。 姚明所得的分中， 大半是OVER DOLEAC。 這也算報了上次主場一箭之仇。尤其是在上半場結束前幾分鐘連得的7分， 掀起了全場的第一次高潮。

在防守時，姚明依舊是老問題。 擋拆之後， 腳步移動過緩， 無法及時回防。 加上火箭的協防不夠， 經常留給對方中鋒15 FT OPEN JUMPER。 要知道扭腰中鋒個個都練就百步傳楊之功。 上次休斯頓一戰就威力無窮， 今晚更是如法泡製， 百試不爽。 此乃姚明及火箭的命門， 不及時去除， 難成大器。 當然火箭教練也難辭其咎。 當THOMAS在場上際， 姚明攻不行， 守不如CATO更有效率。 不知為何RUDY T還用姚強攻籃下， 在第三節斷送了大好的領先優勢。

Based on the stats, Yao had a good game. However, his weakness was fully exposed by the Knicks:1. The incapability to handle the small but versatile center outside the paint. 2. Slow footwork after the pick and roll3. The unwilllingness to commit outside the paint to defend mid-range jumper by the opponent's center4. Poor rebounding positioning, especially on the defensive side.

To be honest, all five starters played pretty well tonight. It was the poor bench production and turnovers that killed them, which tells us the same problem again: inconsistency.

There's one thing I like about Yao though. He is never shy away from the challenge. It was him who threw down a dunk right after Kobe's humiliating dunk in his face. Tonight, he answered with style twice down the strech to keep the Rockets in the game. With a lot of details to improve during the off-season, Yao has everthing needed to be a superstar. I am looking forward to that day.
