we are doing OK in group games, however there is a slight problem in our offense, which is the ability of scoring. individually, our players got excellent skills, ball control and super star like sun wen and bai jie. But as a whole team, we are still lack of ways to score.

if u look at other teams, the common way of scoring is pretty much like 3:

1. passing around the edges of the box, and follow up around 2 posts. I think this is what we should use in attacking, passing around the corner is much less threatening than the edge of the box. we do need midfielders to make some short passes to get the passing situdation. that requires the organization in midfields, that's why i think where sun wen should be, let bai jie and han duan be in front.

2. free kick, corner kick, US is brilliant about the fixed position ball kicking strategy.

3. long and wide passes in midfields. this fits germany and norway, not us.

However, with playoff starting the strategy should vary based on opponents. The above is just my 2 cents, any comment is welcome.
