下面要說到“秋” (名姓縮寫PA). 難了，因為已經寫過三次了。又因為涉及形像描述，不得不指出一點：老矮給我畫像，美意我領了。可形像拔高太多。我與“高，帥，富”實在無關。另外也有人以為我對PA有心跳加快，其實也是沒有的。

我與PA，外表相似處甚多。她專長是“運動創傷”，我專長是“肌肉力學”。她是長跑，我是短跑。我們走路都很快，一陣風似的，步伐輕快有力。我們都有因為運動或鍛煉受傷的經歷。都喜歡福特寶並達偽磚家水平。她說話略帶大都市紐約口音，我說話略帶某國首都口音。最重要的是，我是我們那座四層樓裡頭號“健美男”，PA是他們那座六層大樓里的頭號“健美女”。所以第一次見面，我不免眼前一亮，覺得她身材太好，比我強多了。她也很快表示有相見恨晚之感。

有了某夏天教訓，我決定與PA說話要注意，話題以天氣和體育為主，不討論電影音樂文學詩歌等裡面常有什麼“心”“愛”之類內容的東西。於是我們之間的第一次重要對話，是這樣的

 PA:  "Look at you, strong guy. You really know how to take care of yourself. You must feel good about being in such great shape."

G: "I didn't feel too bad about myself until I met you. Now just by looking at you I feel pressured to work harder, and feel challenged to take my fitness to a different level."

PA: "Thank you. Your compliment is very special. I wish I could present some meaningful challenge to you." Noticing my wrapped right ankle and right elbow, she continued: "Are you still exercising? Obviously you have some problems."

G:"I just have to find the right way to do it. Nothing will stop me from exercising."

PA: "You must have something inside you that tells you not to stop."

G:  "Yes indeed. Are we all driven by the same force?  What drives you to hit that trail in snow, in rain? What drives me to jump into that cold water even with a fever? What drives you to run that extra mile? What drives me to lift those a few extra pounds? Our pursuit of strength and beauty drives all of us to take the pain to work on ourselves tirelessly. We are our own artistic creations. We are moving statues. We bring beauty with us every where we go, and display it wherever we are."

PA: "This is so passionate and inspiring. I do feel the same way, but I couldn't have expressed it so nicely myself."

G: "Me either. I got most of it from an Argentinean movie about body builders."

PA:"I give you credit for putting it in English. I got it from you. You really make me feel better about what I do everyday."
