1. I think we should keep the scoring systems, especially for the QB. Yes, it does give some team with good QB some kind of advantage, but it also adds to the excitement of the game. No matter how much you are behind, you will still have a chance as long as your QB is yet to play.
2. That being said, I do think we can minimize QB's "unfair" advantage by adding 1 or maybe even 2 more positions to make is 10/11 instead of 9.
3. Accordingly, we should have one more bench for the bye or some non-season-ending injuries. So my ideal playing positions would be: QB-RB-RB-RB/WR-WR-WR-WR/TE-TE-K-DEF with 5 benches
