North did so many bad biddings( 2c open and 3h ). He can open and rebid whatever he like ,but he must know one thing ,the contract must nail on club suit ,any number of spade contract is nonono!If partner bid 4s, then change to 5c, if partner bid 5s, then he has to bid 6c,if parnter bid 6s then change to 7c!The double of 2nt at first round showed partner didnt have a solid long spade suit,and his hand void in spade.Playing in spade, his club suit d????ued too much, this also shows why his 2c opening is not good.There are at least 2 tricks difference between play spade and club.Never let a 7-8 cards solid suit hand lay out as dummy but topaly another suit,Never!
