I mean really day one. We got free Vista from MS right on the day it was publicly published.
There was a lot of issues related to compatility, hardware drivers, and so on, especially if you used x64 edition. But it is getting better, just like what happened when XP was released.
Maybe you should learn how to run an ????utable in XP SP2 mode and run it as an administrator. If the software company released any update to resolve the problem, patch it; or you should complain the software company as well. Personally I believe that all the s/w h/w companies are working hard to have their products Vista compatible and flawless.
Last time you complained about the command line windows; it wasn't a real issue, was it?
