I have recieved your mail. Thanks for your hard thinkings, but they confuse me and your thoughts has yet to be seen.

1. I kindly remind you that Rox is playing w/o Deke's major minutes, unlike the last season. Deke only plays against big opponents like Shaq as we planned this summer. Our bigs are Yao, Chuck and Scola. As for Yao's efficiency in low post, pls refer to the stretch before his injury last season. Pls check the tapes.

2. T-mac's back will not get any better. I agree with you. His jumper shots, however, hurt the team. If you ask him 100% to drive to the rim, he would probably do it 50%, as what we understand Mac. League is different now from when big men can decide a game. Yao has approven that he can not single-handedly get it done, neither Mac or whoever. Yes, Mac was great when Yao was out, but don't forget that Deke and Howard stepped up big during that stretch and made up for Yao's absence (Deke averaged 10/12/2 and Jowan averaged near 20 ppt at that stretch). Therefore, it was not only Mac carrying the team. I am not trying to depreciate Mac's game. Still thinking he is the No.1 impacter for this team.

T-mac's back has nothing to do with driving to the hoop. The reason for his most recent back injury was when he landed after a jumper shot attempt and strained his back in the game against Wizards last season.

3. I like Rafer as much as anybody else. He has approven that he is not a good shooter in his entire career. 5 shots are acceptable. That's why I need you to tell him Never Never try any shots. If you tell him shoot the ball, he would shoot 15 times a game because he got 2 inch long bones in his head as you pointed out.

4. First of all, I would not call my best player butterfly hands. There are many ways to keep him from fronting. As the team drills in the last season, he needs to move to weak side when he is fronted and has troubled to receive the ball. At the same time, ball has to move to the weak side around perimeter. Battier or whoever could set a screen in the middle for Yao goes to the weak side. To achieve this, the whole team has to be disciplinary enough. This is always coach's job because players are always "give up" finding it difficulty to make an entry-pass. Also, Yao can play pick-n-roll with Mac.

5. Again, I would not think the rumor is true. T-mac is never selfish player. He knows the only goal is to win a champ in this moment of his career. It's childish that a coach won't play SF3 because sb does not like him. This just like the old rumor Tmac does not like MJ the 04-05 season. At the end of the day, it was the money MJ demanded.
