My point is actually close to yours. We don't discuss history for the sake of history. Rather it is for political purpose most of the time. To argue or to insist 300,000 civilians are slaughtered might be a way to achieve that end, but is it the best way? What really matters, just like you said, is whether Japs did that with organization. I don't have any doubt about that. But why can't we just say it directly instead of producing some bogus pictures and testimonies to support the number of 300,000, or whatever it is?
