下面要说到“秋” (名姓缩写PA). 难了，因为已经写过三次了。又因为涉及形像描述，不得不指出一点：老矮给我画像，美意我领了。可形像拔高太多。我与“高，帅，富”实在无关。另外也有人以为我对PA有心跳加快，其实也是没有的。

我与PA，外表相似处甚多。她专长是“运动创伤”，我专长是“肌肉力学”。她是长跑，我是短跑。我们走路都很快，一阵风似的，步伐轻快有力。我们都有因为运动或锻炼受伤的经历。都喜欢福特宝并达伪砖家水平。她说话略带大都市纽约口音，我说话略带某国首都口音。最重要的是，我是我们那座四层楼里头号“健美男”，PA是他们那座六层大楼里的头号“健美女”。所以第一次见面，我不免眼前一亮，觉得她身材太好，比我强多了。她也很快表示有相见恨晚之感。

有了某夏天教训，我决定与PA说话要注意，话题以天气和体育为主，不讨论电影音乐文学诗歌等里面常有什么“心”“爱”之类内容的东西。于是我们之间的第一次重要对话，是这样的

 PA:  "Look at you, strong guy. You really know how to take care of yourself. You must feel good about being in such great shape."

G: "I didn't feel too bad about myself until I met you. Now just by looking at you I feel pressured to work harder, and feel challenged to take my fitness to a different level."

PA: "Thank you. Your compliment is very special. I wish I could present some meaningful challenge to you." Noticing my wrapped right ankle and right elbow, she continued: "Are you still exercising? Obviously you have some problems."

G:"I just have to find the right way to do it. Nothing will stop me from exercising."

PA: "You must have something inside you that tells you not to stop."

G:  "Yes indeed. Are we all driven by the same force?  What drives you to hit that trail in snow, in rain? What drives me to jump into that cold water even with a fever? What drives you to run that extra mile? What drives me to lift those a few extra pounds? Our pursuit of strength and beauty drives all of us to take the pain to work on ourselves tirelessly. We are our own artistic creations. We are moving statues. We bring beauty with us every where we go, and display it wherever we are."

PA: "This is so passionate and inspiring. I do feel the same way, but I couldn't have expressed it so nicely myself."

G: "Me either. I got most of it from an Argentinean movie about body builders."

PA:"I give you credit for putting it in English. I got it from you. You really make me feel better about what I do everyday."
