明天晚上就会看到一年一度的奥斯卡金像奖颁奖仪式。今年有两部电影在提名中遥遥领先，一部是《Hugo》，一部就是《艺术家》。碰巧，此两部电影的题材都是关于电影形式发展的历史和人们对电影艺术的热爱。在提名的角逐中，《Hugo》获十一项题名，《艺术家》获十项提名。《Hugo》在提名奖项数量上胜出有些出乎人们的意料，但《艺术家》获最佳影片奖几乎已是定局。

由法国导演迈克尔-哈扎纳维希乌斯(Michel Hazanavicius) 执导的电影《艺术家》讲述的是一个好莱坞由无声电影转向有声时期发生的故事。那是十九世纪二十年代的事了。英俊的有妇之夫乔治瓦伦丁（George Valentin) 是无声电影的偶像。他在其一部最新影片的首映式上遇到了女演员佩碧米勒（Peppy Miller)。两人一见钟情。随后，在乔治的下一部电影中，佩碧获得一个小舞女的角色。两人在电影拍摄过程中，恋情升温。随着有声电影的到来，佩碧的演绎生涯蒸蒸日上，成为一个耀眼的新星。而乔治的境遇正相反，由于他拒绝有声电影的理念，无法适应从无声到有声这一电影业划时代的巨变，他的演艺事业江河日下。由于有声电影的到来，和1929年的大萧条，他的一部无声电影惨遭失败，他的无声事业就此划上了句号。他是否能重整旗鼓呢？真爱是否能战胜事业线的颠覆？您自己去找答案吧。。。。。。

法国戛纳电影节最佳男演员奖获得者让·杜雅戈丹（Jean Dujardin) 在影片中饰演乔治。让是一位法国演员和喜剧表演家。让出演过喜剧，演过冒险家，演过舞蹈家，而今又成功的饰演了一个无声电影偶像。他对各种截然不同角色的成功演绎显示了他无所不能的表演天才。他被提名角逐今年奥斯卡的最佳男主角奖。贝热尼丝-贝乔(Bérénice Bejo)是阿根廷和法国混血儿。她在影片中和让天衣无缝的配合为她赢得了今年奥斯卡最佳女配角的提名。让和贝乔能否因《艺术家》而获奥斯卡奖让我们拭目以待。《艺术家》获得的十项提名分别是：
