        And still pursue, the origin and course

        Of love, but until now I never knew

        That fluttering things have so distinct a shade.

            正是蓝鸽，在蓝天中盘旋，

            斜着展开翅膀，一圈又一圈。

            正是白鸽，飘身落地，

            早已厌倦飞行。像深色法师，我

            年轻时观察人性，

            虔诚地研究。每天我都发现

            矫饰世界里人无足轻重。

            后来，我像玫瑰色法师那样探讨，

            并继续探讨，爱的

            起源与进化，但直到现在我才明白

            飘荡之物有着鲜明的色度。

【注】国家艺术俱乐部旨在激发、培养和促进公众对艺术的兴趣，并对美国人民进行美术教育。俱乐部内分割成几个艺术画廊，正好赶上纽约大学学生绘画展，从标题就能感觉出青春的质感，透着初春的一股清流，不过我还是对这座19世纪中叶前纽约州州长“以神之名·肥沃山谷”(Samuel J. Tilden)的故居更感兴趣，它被视为胜利女王哥特式民用建筑的天花板，融汇了很多意大利文艺复兴风格特有的元素，1976年被纳入《美国国家史迹名录》。
