        That fluttering things have so distinct a shade.

            正是藍鴿，在藍天中盤旋，

            斜着展開翅膀，一圈又一圈。

            正是白鴿，飄身落地，

            早已厭倦飛行。像深色法師，我

            年輕時觀察人性，

            虔誠地研究。每天我都發現

            矯飾世界裡人無足輕重。

            後來，我像玫瑰色法師那樣探討，

            並繼續探討，愛的

            起源與進化，但直到現在我才明白

            飄蕩之物有着鮮明的色度。

【注】國家藝術俱樂部旨在激發、培養和促進公眾對藝術的興趣，並對美國人民進行美術教育。俱樂部內分割成幾個藝術畫廊，正好趕上紐約大學學生繪畫展，從標題就能感覺出青春的質感，透着初春的一股清流，不過我還是對這座19世紀中葉前紐約州州長“以神之名·肥沃山谷”(Samuel J. Tilden)的故居更感興趣，它被視為勝利女王哥特式民用建築的天花板，融匯了很多意大利文藝復興風格特有的元素，1976年被納入《美國國家史跡名錄》。
