唐代诗人杜牧名诗《过华清宫》

长安回望绣成堆，

山顶千门次第开。

一骑红尘妃子笑，

无人知是荔枝来。

Glancing back from Changan, Huaqing palace seemed to be situated in an agglomeration of embroideries.

On top of the mountain, thousands of gates opened in an orderly fashion 

A pampered lady smiled as a horse back rider sped up his journey to reach the palace.

No one  realized that the fresh lychees from far away just got carried in with compassion.
