Swaths of wildflowers, vast grassland, witnessed the death of gods,

Distant winds in far-flung places blew only farther away.

My banjo whimpers, my tears all dry,

I gave it back, the remoteness of the remote land.

His name is wood, hers horsetail

My banjo wails, my tears all dry.

Far away only in death congealed the wildflowers,

Mirroring a thousand years, the brilliant moon over the earth.

My banjo howls, my tears all dry,

Alone I spur though the grassland.
