预定拣选实现的复杂性

查经:罗马书第11章。

预定拣选以色列人--->预定拣选外邦人--->预定拣选以色列人

神的预定拣选计划在中途改变了吗?但是实现的过程总是变化的,不变的是“神并没有弃绝祂预先所知道的百姓”,神是信实不后悔的神。

1.以色列人历来都是有蒙拣选的,也有顽梗不化的。

2神并没有弃绝他预先所知道的百姓。你们岂不晓得经上论到以利亚是怎么说的呢?他在神面前怎样控告以色列人,说,God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah--how he appealed to God against Israel:
3主阿,他们杀了你的先知,拆了你的祭坛,只剩下我一个人,他们还要寻索我的命。 
"Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"?
4神的回话是怎么说的呢?他说,我为自己留下七千人,是未曾向巴力屈膝的。 
And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal."
5如今也是这样,照着拣选的恩典还有所留的余数。 
So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

6既是出于恩典,就不在乎行为。不然,恩典就不是恩典了。 
And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

7这是怎么样呢?以色列人所求的,他们没有得着。惟有蒙拣选的人得着了,其余的就成了顽梗不化的。 What then? What Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened,

2.以色列人的『失脚』与『过失』,救恩便临到外邦人

11.我且说,他们失脚是要他们跌倒吗?断乎不是。反倒因他们的过失,救恩便临到外邦人,要激动他们发愤。Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.

显然指主耶稣道成肉身后,以色列民族从整体数量或比例上大多数地拒绝了耶稣,并持续到未来某一段时间内都是如此。这就是以色列人的『失脚』与『过失』,也就是以色列人从较大数量比例上被丢弃、折下或砍下!这才有了外邦人得以嫁接到以色列家的机会。

15若他们被丢弃,天下就得与神和好,他们被收纳,岂不是死而复生吗? 
For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
17若有几根枝子被折下来,你这野橄榄得接在其中,一同得着橄榄根的肥汁。 
If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root,
20不错。他们因为不信,所以被折下来。你因为信,所以立得住。你不可自高,反要惧怕。 
Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.
21神既不爱惜原来的枝子,也必不爱惜你。 
For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

3.神定规以色列全家都要得救

当到达未来某一段时间时,外邦人的数目添满,神计划那时的以色列人从较大数量比例上重新开始信主被拯救,称为“以色列全家得救”。但是他们的罪得赦免完全根据他们的悔改与相信而来的,因信称义。“要消除雅各家的一切罪恶”并不是没有原则的。

“以色列全家”应不是指历世历代所有的以色列人,乃是指在主耶稣再来之前(必有一位救主,从锡安出来),当时仍存活在地上的大多数犹太人(他们代表以色列全家),因被某种迹象而信服神对救恩的安排而得救。

同样,“他们若不是长久不信,仍要被接上”也不是指历世历代不信的以色列人,而是指当时存世的还未信主的以色列人。

这表明了神并没有弃绝祂预先所知道的百姓(verse2) 神的恩赐和选召是没有后悔的(verse29).

23而且他们若不是长久不信,仍要被接上。因为神能够把他们从新接上。 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

24你是从那天生的野橄榄上砍下来的,尚且逆着性得接在好橄榄上,何况这本树的枝子,要接在本树上呢。 
After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
25弟兄们,我不愿意你们不知道这奥秘,(恐怕你们自以为聪明)就是以色列人有几分是硬心的,等到外邦人的数目添满了。 
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
26于是以色列全家都要得救,如经上所记,必有一位救主,从锡安出来要消除雅各家的一切罪恶。 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27又说,我除去他们罪的时候,这就是我与他们所立的约。 
And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."
