哥林多前書 10

1弟兄們，我不願意你們不曉得，我們的祖宗從前都在雲下，都從海中經過。 
For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.
2都在雲裏海里受洗歸了摩西。 
They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
3並且都吃了一樣的靈食。 
They all ate the same spiritual food
4也都喝了一樣的靈水。所喝的是出於隨着他們的靈磐石。那磐石就是基督。 
and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.

這明確表明：出埃及過紅海的以色列人是神借預表的基督救贖重生的人！這對應保羅後來說：

希伯來書11：29他們因着信，過紅海如行干地。埃及人試着要過去，就被吞滅了。 
By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

5但他們中間，多半是神不喜歡的人。所以在曠野倒斃。 
Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert.
6這些事都是我們的鑑戒，叫我們不要貪戀惡事，像他們那樣貪戀的。 
Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.
7也不要拜偶像，像他們有人拜的。如經上所記，百姓坐下吃喝，起來玩耍。 
Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry."
8我們也不要行姦淫，像他們有人行的，一天就倒斃了二萬三千人。 
We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did--and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
9也不要試探主，（主有古卷作基督）像他們有人試探的，就被蛇所滅。 
We should not test the Lord, as some of them did--and were killed by snakes.
10你們也不要發怨言，像他們有發怨言的，就被滅命的所滅。 
And do not grumble, as some of them did--and were killed by the destroying angel.
11他們遭遇這些事，都要作為鑑戒。並且寫在經上，正是警戒我們這末世的人。 
These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.
12所以自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒。 
So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!

出埃及過紅海的以色列人在過了紅海以後，多半在曠野中離棄了神，跌倒了，激怒神，被神懲罰，所以在曠野中倒斃！

同樣，保羅在希伯來書6章提到的人也是神救贖重生而信的人！這包括了那些過紅海的以色列民。完全呼應哥林多前書10章。

希伯來書6
4論到那些已經蒙了光照，嘗過天恩的滋味，又於聖靈有分， 
It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,
5並嘗過神善道的滋味，覺悟來世權能的人， 
who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age,

很明顯，那些過紅海的以色列民顯然是屬於這一類的人！完全呼應哥林多前書10章

6若是離棄道理，就不能叫他們從新懊悔了。因為他們把神的兒子重釘十字架，明明地羞辱他。 
if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
7就如一塊田地，吃過屢次下的雨水，生長菜蔬合乎耕種的人用，就從神得福。 
Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.
8若長荊棘和蒺藜，必被廢棄，近於咒詛，結局就是焚燒。 
But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

聖經論到義人的失喪和跌倒，反覆訴說的主題！

希伯來書10
26因為我們得知真道以後，若故意犯罪，贖罪的祭就再沒有了。 
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

38隻是義人必因信得生。（義人有古卷作我的義人）他若退後，我心裡就不喜歡他。 
But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him."

彼得後書1
20倘若他們因認識主救主耶穌基督，得以脫離世上的污穢，後來又在其中被纏住制伏，他們末後的景況，就比先前更不好了。 
If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
21他們曉得義路，竟背棄了傳給他們的聖命，倒不如不曉得為妙。 
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

某些人極度推崇的以西結書， 更是一再的陳述這一聖經要點！

以西結書 - 第 18 章 第 24 節
義人若轉離義行而作罪孽，照着惡人所行一切可憎的事而行，他豈能存活嗎？他所行的一切義都不被記念。他必因所犯的罪，所行的惡死亡。

以西結書 - 第 18 章 第 26 節
義人若轉離義行而作罪孽死亡，他是因所作的罪孽死亡。

以西結書 - 第 33 章 第 12 節
人子阿，你要對本國的人民說，義人的義，在犯罪之日不能救他。至於惡人的惡，在他轉離惡行之日也不能使他傾倒。義人在犯罪之日也不能因他的義存活。

以西結書 - 第 33 章 第 13 節
我對義人說，你必定存活。他若倚靠他的義而作罪孽，他所行的義都不被記念。他必因所作的罪孽死亡。
