不过，女儿还是好玩的成分居多，还总是问，你们有没有听过和知道美国中国之外的国歌呢？这还真把我们问倒了，我似乎从来就没有注意过别的国歌，有机会听一回，多半是听过就忘。看来女儿还是比我们更国际主义啊！其实呢，她就是喜欢各种不一样的歌，不一样的曲调罢了。

话说回来了，这次中国队和美国拼金牌，最后得了个金牌第二，电视上的解说员也不断惊叹中国人的厉害，对女儿对中国的认识有很大的影响。身为一个 Chinese-American，她似乎觉得更自在了，郭晶晶，刘翔如今成了她的新偶像了。

对于父母亲来说，一个同时接受和喜爱美国和中国两种文化，将来更具有国际视野的孩子，不是比一个单一的“爱国主义者”更值得期待么？退一步来说， 如果从郭晶晶那里受点启发，爱上跳水什么的，不也是奥运观战的一个收获么？
