看來中國學生對IE 的研究領域不是很清楚，正好我手邊有一份工業工程學會的IE Keyword, 獻給大家。

從這份keyword 可以看出，MIS 僅僅是43項中的第23項。而且就我所熟悉的為數不多的IE領域中，第22項的financial engineering及第13項的 supply chain management 就比MIS 要熱得多，研究領域也比MIS 要寬。中國人在這兩個領域有挺不錯的研究者（清華經管院的那幾個講席教授）。另外清華聘的第一個講席教授Purdue IE 的G.Salvendy 是第6項 ergonomics, human factors 的教授。

如果只讀碩士的話，可能難於選擇。讀博士的話，那肯定應該選IE.
